To  provide administration and consulting for your qualified plan our organization must request and keep record of non-public personal information on each of our clients and their employees. This information generally includes:
 
Name and Social Security Number
Annual income and deferral amount (if applicable)
Health Information
Beneficiary Information
Distribution and Tax Elections
 
We employ the following procedures to ensure that all of our customer information is kept confidential:

• All customer files are physically maintained at our office in Charlotte, NC or in specialized off site storage.. These files are locked when the office is closed. Both places are protected by electronic surveillance.
  
• Only authorized individuals have access to these files.
  
• All authorized individuals are required to sign a confidentially agreement.

We do not disclose nor do we reserve the right to disclose any confidential personal information about any of our current or former customers, except as permitted or required by law or as necessary to engage a product authorized and selected by the customer.

Additionally, visitors to our web site are not tracked nor is their contact information recorded and/or sold to third parties. Voluntary e-mail contact from visitors to Miles and Associates Inc. are also protected by this privacy policy.
